A new build of YOU vs Zombies is ready for testing, and this one is looking bloodier, louder, and slightly more hazardous than before.
Expect more danger around objective areas, new combat polish, fresh Ritual moments, improved Steam Deck navigation, more destructible chaos, and a whole lot of blood in places blood probably shouldn’t be.

Ambient zombies have infested objective areas where appropriate. Congratulations: getting things done is now even more life-threatening
New Dash icons have been added beneath your hero!
You now begin each run with 1 Dash charge. Additional charges can be earned through leveling up, assuming you survive long enough.
Added new visual effects when your Luck stat is high enough to grant an extra level-up card.
Blood now correctly splatters across floors, walls, and pretty much any surface unfortunate enough to be nearby when a zombie explodes.
Adjusted damage values and visual effects for Ricochet and Split spell upgrades.
Added more combat sound effects to help every encounter sound slightly more traumatic.
New visual effects added for selected spells.
Added new script and voice lines for your first encounter with The Ritual.
Additional Ritual glyphs have appeared throughout various front-end screens. We're sure that's fine.
Refreshed colours throughout parts of the gameplay entry flow.
Location screens have received a fresh coat of blood-covered artwork.
Fences have been added to the Rural Trainyard. They won't stop the zombies, but they look reassuring.
Various props throughout levels can now be destroyed.
Optimized the Office level. Corporate efficiency finally achieved.
Numerous level design tweaks, fixes, and general anti-apocalypse maintenance.
Addressed several issues affecting front-end navigation on Steam Deck.
Fixed front-end display issues across different screen resolutions. The apocalypse should now fit your screen correctly.
Added a debug button to hide UI elements, allowing us to take cleaner screenshots of the carnage.
Fixed several front-end UI flow issues.
Survivors should no longer mysteriously encounter their identical twins within the same level.
