I just released an official lore and ending breakdown for The Butler on my channel. This video was made to help explain the story’s twists, hidden details, symbolism, and the deeper meaning behind the Holden legacy.
The Butler is a very layered story, and a lot of its context is intentionally spread throughout the environment, notes, dialogue, and connections to previous events. Because of that, some details can be easy to miss on a first playthrough. This breakdown was made to help piece everything together and provide a clearer understanding of the story as a whole.
