We’re thrilled to share that the immersive horror game Fire and Ashes now has a release date. It launches on October 14 for PC and consoles. Alongside the date announcement, we’re revealing a brand-new trailer:
The story is set in 1977. The protagonist, Henry Gray, wakes up in a bathtub inside a psychiatric ward. There’s blood everywhere—but it isn’t his. Soon it becomes clear that the hospital has turned into a trap, and what’s happening is tied to a tragedy from Henry’s past.
As the story unfolds, it gradually moves beyond the asylum’s walls. Henry finds himself in grim locations connected to his history, where the line between reality and madness grows increasingly blurred. Enemies include deranged patients, cannibals, ghosts, victims of brutal experiments, cybernetic creations, and other otherworldly beings.
Voice Recognition
One of Fire and Ashes’ standout features revolves around sound. Using voice recognition technology, the game reacts to your breathing, whispering, and panic. Sound becomes both a tool and a threat—being too loud can draw enemies straight to you.
Psychological Horror
The game constantly erases the line between reality and insanity, gradually unraveling Henry’s story and the events that shattered his life.
Exploration & Survival
Players must explore dark locations, scavenge for vital resources, and use everything they find to stay alive.
Puzzles & Investigation
Progressing through the narrative involves solving puzzles and piecing together fragments of the story to reconstruct what really happened.
Diverse Enemies
Danger doesn’t come only from ghosts and supernatural entities. You’ll also face mad patients, psychopaths, cannibals, guards, experiment victims, and cybernetic horrors.
