You might have thought we'd abandoned the project — we haven't. Rather than put everyone through a chapter-at-a-time release, we decided to finish the whole thing at once. So it is with great pride that I announce: on September 3rd, Exilium: Kiro releases in full.
Here's what has changed.
• The story is complete. All of Act III, and Act II finished as well — the game has grown considerably.
• New characters — and familiar ones show new sides.
• A real ending. The one we intended from the very start.
• The Codex — an encyclopedia of the world: how it works, its peoples, and the creatures that inhabit it.
• The Gallery. Scenes you've unlocked can now be revisited straight from the menu.
• New scenes, and some of them have come alive — where there used to be a still image, there's now animation.
• New battle art and new locations, and the older backgrounds have been redrawn.
• Choices now shape your playthrough — branches with consequences.
• Chinese language and a language selector.
• Achievements now cover the whole game, not just the first act.
Odds and ends: a content warning, a blackjack minigame, and side activities between chapters.
Thank you for waiting. See you on September 3rd!
