TASMON: Taskbar Monsters · published

“Heroes” is now officially available!
The “Hero Pack: Dark Crimson” DLC is also available for purchase.
This update also introduces a major overhaul of the combat system, Simplified Chinese language support, UI improvements, and various bug fixes.
[NEW CONTENT: HEROES]
・A new challenge mode has been added, where you choose a Partner and take on a series of battles.
・Clear Stage 1 to recruit your chosen Partner. The Partner’s rarity depends on the selected difficulty.
・Two difficulty levels are available: Normal and Death.
・As you progress through the stages, your Partner gradually regains their original power and advances through their Awakenings.
・Partners who clear Stage 7 on Death difficulty receive a unique global serial number called a “Hero No.” This number shows their worldwide clear order—share it on social media and show off your achievement!
・Purchase the “Hero Pack: Dark Crimson” DLC to switch your Partners to their Shadow forms.
[IMPORTANT: COMBAT SYSTEM OVERHAUL]
The previous system, in which the entire party shared a single HP pool, has been replaced. Each Tasmon now has its own individual HP.
・Enemy attacks now damage only the targeted Tasmon.
・When a Tasmon’s HP reaches zero, only that Tasmon is knocked out. The rest of the party will continue fighting.
・Knocked-out Tasmons automatically return to battle after 30 seconds. A countdown shows the remaining recovery time.
・Each Tasmon now has its own HP bar, making it easier to identify which party members are in danger.
・Tank Tasmons now have access to Taunt skills.
・While Taunt is active, that Tasmon draws enemy attacks and takes reduced damage.
[BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS]
We have reduced the effectiveness of relying exclusively on life-steal effects for survival, allowing healers, defenders, and barrier-focused Tasmons to play more meaningful roles.
・The healing provided by life-steal skills has been reduced.
・The maximum amount of healing per second has been increased.
[NEW BUILD OPTIONS]
・Basic Attack buffs have been added. These buffs increase basic attack damage but do not affect skills.
・AoE Skill Power has been added as a new equipment stat. It applies only to area-of-effect attack skills.
・Damage-over-Time Skill Power has been added as an accessory-exclusive equipment stat. It applies only to damage-over-time effects.
[NEW FEATURES]
・Simplified Chinese is now supported, joining Japanese and English as the game’s third available language. You can change the language using the globe icon on the screen.
・You can now add multiple materials at once when using Alchemy or Equipment Synthesis.
[VISUAL AND UI IMPROVEMENTS]
We have updated parts of the UI to reduce CPU and memory usage.
・Orbs on the Sphere Board are now larger and spaced farther apart, making them easier to distinguish from the background.
・The Total Power display on the combat screen has been improved, and the Recommended Power display has been removed.
[QUALITY-OF-LIFE IMPROVEMENTS]
・Skill-based drop bonuses have been reorganized to make it clear whether they apply to eggs or treasure chests.
・When Extreme Evolution results in a hidden class or alternate-color variant, the Tasmon is now guaranteed to receive a 1.15× bonus to both Attack and HP.
