Big speedup on low-end hardware. The heaviest rendering effect (the glow/shadow) now turns off automatically on weaker devices, and the game renders at a lighter resolution and scales it up. Budget phones and older PCs get much better frame rates, and stronger hardware looks exactly the same as before.
Faster auto performance mode. The game spots a poor fps and drops into Low Spec mode, instead of polling over larger periods of time.
Reduced-motion support. If your system is set to reduce motion, screen shake and particle bursts start off. You can turn them back on anytime.
Full keyboard menu navigation. Arrow keys move through every menu, Enter selects, and Left/Right change sliders. No mouse needed.
Keybind Feed key. You can now remap the keyboard key that feeds the flame in Settings.
Higher text contrast on menu descriptions and hints so they're easier to read.
Touch press feedback. Buttons and cards now react clearly when you tap them.
Fixed quitting to menu from the pause screen losing your run. Your progress saves properly now, and Continue picks up where you left off.
Clearer quit warnings. Quitting a Daily run now warns you the run will be lost. Saveable modes tell you your progress is safe.
Fixed the default volume. The game used to launch way too quiet on a fresh install. The default mix is set to a proper level now.
Undying Flame is coming to Mac, iOS, and Android. Native builds for all three exist and are in testing. They'll arrive with the full launch.
