G-Rebels Demo · published · build 25258939

After our initial update in August, we are thrilled to roll out our biggest update for G-Rebels yet, packed with tons of new features, major VR optimizations, performance improvements, and enhancements for your flight controls setup.
Main highlights include:
For the tech enthusiasts and motion-sim builders: Telemetry data is now available via UDP. This opens up new possibilities for external dashboards, motion platforms, and custom hardware setups to react dynamically to in-game flight data.
Performance Optimized
Optimized environment rendering, which should give you better distant viewing at higher frame rates.
Killing Micro Stutter
Major improvements to world streaming to eliminate micro-stutter.
Artifacts Eliminated
We fixed the remaining visual artifacts in VR (fingers crossed).
Panoramic UI
New widescreen HUD and panoramic menu screens for VR.
Dedicated VR Launch
G-Rebels now offers launch parameters to start seamlessly to VR or flat, eliminating the need to toggle settings within the game menu.
QoL Tweaks
Aiming at drones in Mission Derailed Fury is now more intuitive, VR pop-up menus will no longer lose focus, and shadow quality is freely adjustable again in VR.
Better Hardware Detection and Handling
Enjoy improved menu and UI handling with joysticks alongside enhanced support and detection for flight pedals.
Live Input Meter
Configure your joystick with ease thanks to a live axis input meter that lets you monitor your signals directly in the control configuration menu.
Flight Dynamics
You can now toggle Dynamic Roll (disable auto-roll on yaw) and use an optional 'fixed pilot view' via the input modifiers. …and so much more. For the complete list of all new features and fixes check out our full patch notes at:
