Guilds have had a roster and a bank for a while now, and not much reason to open either. This update gives your guild something to do together, and gives you a reason to care what your guild has been up to while you were offline.
Your guild now has five orders on the board, permanently:
You take one at a time. Finish it and it goes straight back on the board, so if slaying monsters is what you were going to do this evening anyway, you can run that same order all evening. There is no daily list to miss and nothing expires overnight.
Every order you complete adds contribution to your guild.
Guild buffs — Attack, Defense, Dodge and Accuracy, each in a General, PvE and PvP line, five levels deep. Your guild buys them once and every member carries them into combat.
They are not free-for-all, though, and that is where Grade comes in.
Grade is your own standing inside the guild, 1 to 10, earned by the contribution you personally put in. It decides how much of the guild's buff actually reaches you. A guild that has bought level 5 of a buff does not hand level 5 to someone who joined an hour ago — they start at the bottom and climb.
Open any buff card and it tells you plainly what your Grade is currently getting you, and what the next one would. Everyone's Grade is now visible on the Members tab, so you can see who has been carrying the guild.
An accepted order sits in your quest tracker with everything else you are working on, counting as you go. When it completes you get a banner, so you are not opening the guild panel every ten minutes to check a number.
The leaderboard has a new Guilds tab, ranking guilds by Guild Level.
The Events panel also reads a live feed now, which means an event can start, change or end without waiting for a game update. The first thing it brings is a rotation that hands over every Wednesday: EXP Rush Hour, then Guild Contribution x2, then Collector's Week, then Forge Week.
One note on the guild buffs: they are new, and the numbers behind them are the part I am least sure of. If maxing a track feels impossibly far away, or Grade climbs slower than it should, tell me — those are values I can change without another update, and I would rather change them early than let a guild grind six months toward something that was mistuned.
If something is off, the Options menu has a report button. I read all of them.
