Greetings to all fishers!
First of all, thank you so much for playing Scale the Depths, and for your patience while we’ve been working on what comes next!
We’ve been reading your feedback, fixing issues, and adding smaller improvements since launch, but we’ve also been working on something much bigger behind the scenes.
Development on version 1.1 is well underway, and it will bring our first major expansion to the game.
The update will include:
New ways to augment your game
New additions to fish scaling
More cosmetics
New quality-of-life features
And, most importantly… tons of new fish across every world!
(Can you name just the ones shown off in this teaser?)
More news and details about this update will be announced in the future, so stay tuna-ed! 🐟
Beyond version 1.1, we’ve got other exciting updates planned in the future, including brand new worlds! 🌎
This update is smaller, but adds Turkish language localization plus a couple other additions.
NEW! Turkish Localization - Turkish is now available as a language option. You can change your selected language by going to the “General” tab in Settings.
NEW! On-screen keyboard for controller - Configured on-screen keyboard display that works with a controller for those using a Steam Deck or Steam Big Picture Mode. Helpful when naming your boat while using a Steam Deck or controller.
Fixed Fullscreen/Windowed display settings not applying when the game is started.
Since launch, we’ve also rolled out several smaller updates with new features, fixes, and quality-of-life improvements, including:
New character color palettes and cosmetics
A Repellent Toggle and Almanac improvements
Better customer behavior and balancing
New accessibility and settings options
Controller, performance, and softlock fixes

Thank you for all of your support for our game! We couldn’t have made it this far without all of you, and we hope to continue expanding Scale the Depths even further into the future!
