Difficulty Modes, Additional Class Balance Updates, and more are now on the PTS!

More 8.0 content has been released on the Public Test Server! Previously, players were able to test the first boss of the Children of Nul Operation in Story and Veteran Mode and get a first look into the Class Balances for Sentinel/Marauder, Sage/Sorcerer, and Vanguard/Power Tech at level 85.

Today, players will also be able to test the following:

• Difficulty Modes

• Class Balances for Guardian/Juggernaut and Operative

The following will be available for players to see as of this iteration of PTS:

• Legacy Level 60 + New Character Perks

What are Difficulty Modes?This feature will allow players to toggle their difficulty in the overworld! In the live game today, difficulties can only be selected in personal instances, or grouped content. With Difficulty Modes in 8.0, players can adjust their difficulty when they are out and about the galaxy without impacting the personal experiences of their friends and group members.Switching difficulties in the overworld will impact damage received, healing received, and experience gains on a personal level only.Did you say Legacy Level 60?We did! 10 new levels will be available at the start of 8.0, and with it, there will be new character perks such as:

• Medical Probe Affinity I

• Medical Probe Affinity II

• Medical Probe Affinity III

• Improved Rest and Recharge I

• Improved Rest and Recharge II

• Improved Rest and Recharge III
