Thank you all for your comments, feedback, and bug reports! We closely read everything you write and try to improve the game based on your feedback. Today we are releasing an update focused on quality-of-life improvements:
[New Board Objectives] - Previously, new club development objectives could not be completed ahead of schedule. Now, if the club board becomes highly satisfied ahead of time while you are completing one of the new objectives (because you exceeded expectations), you will receive a reward and the board will issue a different objective. This makes the game more dynamic.
[Footballer Search] - On the Search screen, we have added a "Search only for footballers of own nationality" option. This comes in handy if you have too many foreign players in your squad.
[Footballer Search] - If any footballers on the Search screen are already on your Watchlist, a watchlist icon now appears next to them. This helps to avoid confusion and saves you from having to switch between screens as much.
[League Editor] - Copy and Paste buttons have been added to all kit editor screens. Besides the obvious use of copying kits from one mod and pasting them into another, this setup opens up another possibility. You can copy a kit, paste its code into a spreadsheet or text editor, and then copy and paste it from there to another location. This saves you a lot of time.
[League Editor] - We have long allowed for this: if you change a country's flag in a mod, that country is renamed after the mod. This lets you create a different country in place of an existing one. However, this feature was not applied when changing footballers' nationalities within the mod. We have now added support for the new country name with the modified flag to the nationality list when configuring footballers.
[Match Watching] - We have slightly tweaked the design of the drop-down lists on the screen for scheduling matches to watch. Now, if a tournament name takes up two lines, it looks neater.
[Bug Fixes] - The screen for scheduling matches to watch displayed two stages of the World Cup (qualifying and final) instead of one continuous tournament.
[Bug Fixes] - Under certain circumstances, when footballers returned to your club from national teams, the substitutes list glitched, only allowing 6 footballers on the bench instead of 7.
[Bug Fixes] - Under certain circumstances, you could receive a message stating that a footballer had returned from the national team, even though they had not actually been called up this time.
[Bug Fixes] - In Hotseat modes (including the World Championship 2026 mode), if a player was spectating a match instead of playing, clicking the Control button handed them control over both teams. The game assumed that two players wanted to continue playing against each other. Now, the game checks whether both teams belong to the player, or just one. If it is only one, control over that specific team is given to the player.
[Bug Fixes] - In Hotseat modes (including the World Championship 2026 mode), if you assigned an AI opponent to be controlled by a player, started the match, and then quit the match, the opponent reverted to being controlled by the AI.
[Crash Fixes] - Under certain circumstances, crashes could occur on the Footballer Search screen.
[Crash Fixes] - In some very rare situations, the game crashed when clicking the Next button.
