
This update introduces three major new features to Deep Blue Sushi: a new lobby system, hireable restaurant workers, and the new Crab Boss encounter.
It also includes Prep Station improvements, performance optimizations, interaction improvements, customization fixes, and a large collection of gameplay fixes.
You can now create and manage multiplayer lobbies before setting sail.
Create your own lobby and invite friends.
Browse and join public rooms.
Choose between:

Added password-protected lobbies.
Added player ready checks.
Added host moderation controls.
Improved control over your multiplayer session before starting the game.
You can now hire and manage workers through the Staff App.
Four worker roles are available:
Stocker
Buys missing supplies.
Moves ingredients into storage.
Waitress
Takes customer orders.
Serves dishes.
Collects payments.
Clears dirty trays.
Prep Cook
Prepares ingredients.
Cooks rice.
Processes fish.
Sushi Chef
Prepares customer orders.
Stocks the Conveyor Belt with dishes from your menu.
Workers unlock as your restaurant grows:
Stocker: Restaurant Level 3
Waitress: Restaurant Level 5
Prep Cook: Restaurant Level 7
Sushi Chef: Restaurant Level 10
You can manage worker tasks, keep track of wages, and review their contributions through the daily staff report.
A new boss encounter is now available beneath the ocean.
Challenge the giant Crab Boss.
Dodge its attacks and find openings to strike.
Defeat the boss to unlock Poseidon’s Trident.
Bring your friends and see if your crew can survive the fight.
GastroPans now spawn automatically after cutting ingredients.
Prepared ingredients can now be transferred directly into matching GastroPans.
Existing GastroPans are reused when enough space is available.
Transfer animations are now faster.
Reduced unnecessary clicks and waiting during ingredient preparation.
Prep Stations now better recover items thrown or stuck underneath them.
Fixed placement areas sometimes blocking item targeting.
Fixed an issue where casting the Fishing Rod at environmental objects, especially the refrigerator, could leave the player stuck.
The Fishing Rod can now be safely closed with R whenever its current state allows it.
The R to close hint is now hidden while fishing or whenever the rod cannot be put away.
Fixed an issue where players could be unable to collect the Harpoon from Gabe and become stuck in the quest.
Harpoon pickup now works correctly after loading a save.
Harpoon pickup now works correctly for players joining an ongoing multiplayer session.
Improved overall Harpoon pickup reliability.
Fixed inconsistent player movement speeds when transitioning between swimming and running on land.
New players can now choose their Rapid Press button during initial setup.
Fixed Mouse 1 appearing as “Pointer Press” after rebinding it.
Improved recovery for items stuck beneath Chef Desks.
Added various interaction and stability improvements.
Optimized Conveyor Belt item movement calculations.
Reduced unnecessary Conveyor Belt updates while the belt is stopped.
Reduced CPU overhead from unnecessary body-shape updates on baked resident visuals.
Significantly optimized all plated sushi models by reducing unnecessary renderers and draw calls.
Plated dish optimizations now apply throughout the game, not only on Conveyor Belts.
Optimized GastroPan ingredient visuals to reduce CPU and rendering overhead.
Improved performance when multiple GastroPans are present.
Rice visuals remain unchanged.
Fixed incorrect chin coloring when using certain lipstick options with Anime-style characters.
Improved clothing and accessory compatibility across different character body types.
Fixed minor character morph issues.
Fixed minor outfit alignment issues.
Fixed Conger Eel Fillet being impossible to place on storage shelves.
Fixed Sea Urchin partially clipping into tables when placed.
Fixed empty rice sacks falling through the floor when thrown.
Fixed Edamame Jars missing collision when thrown.
Restored missing colliders on several side dish wholesale items.
Lights that activate at night are now visible on Low graphics settings.
Updated localization for the mounted trophy fish interaction hint.
Improved Talking Fish interaction text across all supported languages.
