Godhand is a six-armed forge idol that pounds the floor, claps across the arena, and detaches its hands for lane attacks. Dodge its strikes, then attack the exposed core. Its Ultra form adds Crossclamp: the hands reform for a second set of strikes at right angles to the first.
The Bullhead charges across the arena, throws wall-hit shockwaves, and becomes vulnerable while staggered.
The Rivals pair the shielded Laureate with the charging Auroch. Positioning and kill order both matter.
The Horologe turns the arena into a clock face with lethal hands, chimes, safe sectors, and rifts.
The Breaker shuts off the arena lights, hunts through the dark, and slams into your locked position.
Risk and reward
Elite caches are now SEALED. Survive the 30-second curse without taking a hit for three upgrades. Taking a hit ends the curse and pays one.
Boss caches now offer PRESS. Keep your upgrades or double them, with bust chances rising from 25% to 50% to 75%. A winning streak can reach eight upgrades.
SACRIFICE nodes appear during runs and burn out if ignored. Pay 15% of max HP for one roll: a 20% chance at an upgrade, 35% at five Boons, or 45% at XP worth 15% of your next level.
Rare SHINY enemies flee, never attack, and escape after 12 seconds. They have nine times normal health and pay gems worth 60% of your next level plus 1,200 score.
Combat and balance
Last Stand grants 50% faster fire at 10% HP or lower. Healing above the threshold ends it.
Picking up an active Boon now adds its full duration instead of replacing the time remaining.
The first boss has 62.5% less health. Boons arrive 50% faster during the first two boss fights.
Hollow now costs 25% max HP instead of 50%.
Critical Mass now requires 185 enemies on screen at once instead of 200, lowering the unlock requirement for Null Shard.
Controls, visuals, and interface
New profiles now start with mouse-steer movement. Saved movement preferences stay unchanged, and WASD and arrow keys still work.
Setting an FPS cap no longer makes the game unnecessarily reduce visual effects quality.
The death screen now fits smaller windows without hiding its controls.
Controller glyphs appear only after a connected pad is used.
Pickup callouts are shorter, achievement tiles align consistently, and SACRIFICE payouts have distinct discharge effects.
