Hello everyone, I'm the solo developer behind Galactum Meridian. After six months of development, I'm getting ready to open the Far Horizon Expedition to players on September 1. Galactum Meridian is a research-first space strategy game about leading humanity's first deep survey beyond Sol. You navigate a fully three-dimensional map built around more than 10,000 cataloged stars, investigate planetary systems, conduct field research, deploy scientific probes, and compete with rival expeditions for stewardship over interstellar space.
A playable single-player campaign beginning in Sol and continuing through
multiple possible conclusions
A 3D star map where depth, survey reach, and stewardship shape expansion
Orbital investigation and rover-based field studies on planetary surfaces
Orbiters, landers, rovers, observatories, and specialized scientific probes
A 3D Research Atlas that turns discoveries into new expedition capabilities
Rival expeditions competing to publish findings and secure scientific
authority
Early Access will give me an opportunity to improve balance, usability, performance, terrain variety, and presentation with help from player feedback. The central campaign and its exploration, research, fieldwork, probe, save, and stewardship systems are already in place. I've also added a new gameplay trailer to the Steam page. It provides a current look at the star map, planetary exploration, field research, and the systems that connect discovery to strategy.
Early Access release: September 1, 2026
Price: $19.99 USD
Launch discount: 10% off for the first seven days
If Galactum Meridian sounds like your kind of space strategy game, please add it to your wishlist. Steam will notify you when Early Access begins. Thank you to everyone who has followed the project, watched the trailers, joined the playtest, or shared feedback. I'm looking forward to hearing what you discover. --Hedra Games
