We've spent the last few weeks working on a demo update that'll make the beach less buggy and lifeguard duties more enjoyable.
Thanks for all the reports you've sent our way. You're helping make our game better every day.
The bigger addition: pick a route, set your time, and race against ghost runs from other players who've taken on the same track before you. No lobbies, no waiting around. Just you, the clock, and whoever set the record you're chasing.
We're impressed by our players' sheer determination. We honestly didn't anticipate leaderboard scores climbing this high.
We've seen it all: lightning-fast clicking, devices like a muscle massager propped on the spacebar, even straight-up autoclickers. You've got to admit, our players don't lack creativity.
Thanks to that, we've been able to block most third-party software going forward. Don't worry though. We won't be wiping your existing scores.
Instead, we've built a brand new mechanic for Pullups: less fast clicking, more clicking at the right time. It's now a test of not just reflexes, but the focus every lifeguard needs on duty.
Two new missions join the random mission pool. Same beach, same radio crackling to life, just new ways for it to go sideways.
Most of our work recently is bugfixes and general polish. The little snags you've been reporting are quietly getting squashed one by one.
Stay watchful and remember to stay hydrated.
Yours,
Lifeguard Team
