Hey Pilots! 👋🛩️

What a month June was for us!

Our Lou's Lagoon demo launched, so many of you jumped in to play, and we've absolutely loved seeing all your screenshots, stories, feedback, and adventures. Now's the perfect time to look back at everything we've shared together over June and to celebrate our amazing community (you!). 🥰

📸 Screenshot Competition

We kicked things off with our screenshot competition, asking you to share your favourite moments from the demo.

We had 5 winners in total: 4 selected at random and 1 special Dev Choice winner.

Huge congratulations to our four randomly selected winners! Check out their fantastic screenshots below:

@Anschi @Yakjak @Luis Miguel - 3D Artist, and @Cheesus Crust

And of course, congratulations to our Dev's Choice winner who amazed us with her screenshot of "riding" a deergoat! 😄

@Magda!

📖 Diary Entry Competition

Next up was the Diary Entry competition.

This prize was something a little special. Not only did the winner receive a game code and some Lou's Lagoon goodies, but their diary entry will become the very first logbook entry players read when they arrive on Lou's Island in the full game. That means they'll be helping shape how everyone's adventure begins!

We had so many fantastic entries and it was really hard to decide for one, but there could only be one winner. A huge congratulations to @Siren! Take a look at their brilliant diary entry below that you will get to see in the final game:

"We had just finished securing the last of our supplies to weather through this storm when we received an emergency call from Hefti! Captain Jackie immediately changed the Elizabeth's course. I keep trying to go out on the deck to get a glimpse of Uncle Lou's island, but this storm is pretty scary and the waves are so big! I hope everyone is okay."

🔎 Scavenger Hunt

To finish the month, we sent you all off on a scavenger hunt!

We shared the screenshots below and challenged everyone to find all four locations in the demo.

Anyone who found all four spots and sent them to us was entered into a prize draw, with three lucky winners chosen at random.

Congratulations to @hotshot7000, @Sniket and @Marlowe Neb! 🎉

It's been so much fun chatting with all of you over on Discord. Seeing everyone sharing discoveries, helping each other out, posting screenshots, enjoying the demo and sharing feedback with us made June such an amazing month!

Here are just a handful of the many moments you've shared with us:

🫨 100,000 Wishlists?!

We also hit an absolutely incredible milestone this month...

Lou's Lagoon passed 100,000 Wishlists!

That's all thanks to every single one of you who's taken the time to Wishlist the game, play the demo, tell your friends, or simply cheer us on along the way.

Thank you. This is a big motivation boost as we're adding the last finishing touches before the launch in August. 🫶

And that's a wrap for June!

Thank you so much for taking part in all of our community activities and for spending time with us throughout the demo. Your support means the world to us and helps even more people discover Lou's Lagoon.

If you haven't played the demo yet, there's still time! Jump in, and don't forget to complete the survey at the end to unlock this free in-game outfit when the full game launches.

We're now just 2 months away from launch!

Lou's Lagoon lands on August 27th, and we honestly can't wait to welcome you back for the full adventure.

If you'd like to hang out with us, share your screenshots, or chat with the community, we'd love to see you over on our Discord
