Long Dives Demo · published · build 25029880

The Exchange Overhaul has now been implemented. It is now a functional market with buy/sell orders paired with an order book through which you can influence. This is a completely optional mechanic, if you do not want to interact with it, simply use the auto-sell function.
The Exchange is now an order book. Every resource has a live ladder of bids and asks, scaled by your own production.
Limit orders: open a resource's chart and post a bid or ask at your price. It stays in the book until the the price reaches it. This is limited to four per resource.
Whales: large orders show up in the ladder now and then and sit for a few minutes to simulate whales entering the market.
Your own trades eat up the demand, be careful to not oversaturate the market.
Prices now tick once per second.
Candlestick charts built from real trades, with 5s / 30s / 1m / 5m zooms, volume, a time axis, and your open orders.
Contracts scale with your economy.
Expeditions scale with what your production is actually worth.
Windows open sized to their content and keep their position.
Diving (or switching saves) closes every open window
Save slots are now uncapped
Borderless fullscreen (F11), a master volume slider, and Reset settings. Options, Stats, Charters, Pearl Upgrades and Daemons got reorganized into tabs.
The top bar reveals resource chips as you first produce each resource; the Build shop hides cards more than one Depth away.
A text pass across the whole game: shorter and plainer, fewer captions, more readable data.
The downloaded build no longer crashes on quit. Saves should not have been affected.
