Project Elvis

Ithiel AI · published

I know what you're not thinking: "Why Project Elvis?"

It's simple — I did not expect to push out this much backend work.

Sometimes when you sit down to build something, you just don't know what's going to happen. HA.

So, we have been adding, tweaking, and moving Workspace toward becoming a super user-friendly "absorb it all" environment.

The goal is to have Ithiel absorb just about any information you give it and add that information to your Living Library.

Think of Ithiel as the steward of your own local library of... well, anything.

It could be an AI Backup.zip, Chocolate Chip Cookies.odt, your old home storage drive, a NAS, or whatever collection of information you want Ithiel to work with.

What we're trying to do is make all of this as simple as possible.

As part of that, Workspace now has a lot more capability. You can bring information into Ithiel, see it, work with it, and when you're working on a project, Ithiel can maintain a focused working session around that project and its information.

And that leads us to where we are now.

I have gotten Workspace about as far as I can before we need to implement The Forge.

The Forge will be the area where you can do the really heavy work.

This is where you'll be able to create Steam Workshop items, work on larger builds, plan and build your ideas, and connect Ithiel with other programs that support API connections.

Workspace is becoming the place where Ithiel absorbs, organizes, remembers, and stewards your information.

The Forge will be where you build with it.

And, like always, if you have questions about how something in Ithiel works, just ask Ithiel.

Ithiel is aware of its own programming and systems, so I don't have to explain every single thing myself...

...because I can't.

This stuff is crazy. HA.-Smash
