Hello, little crabs!

After an intense period of work on the visuals and rendering of the game, today we want to show you the new visual look that Waifu Bubble will have.

During this process, we went through several iterations of the environments, working especially on lighting, materials, colors, and rendering to achieve a more polished look and, above all, a more kawaii style.

Map 1 — Iteration 1

This is the version we were using as our starting point before beginning the visual overhaul.

Map 1 — Iteration 2

In this second iteration, we started introducing the first major changes to the lighting, materials, and overall appearance of the environment.

Map 1 — Iteration 3

After continuing to work on the rendering and visual style of the environment, we reached the current version.

Comparison

To give you a better idea of how the game's visuals have evolved, here is a comparison of the three versions:

Iteration 2

Iteration 3

As you can see, the change between the different iterations is quite significant. We've been working to achieve a visual style that better matches the personality of Waifu Bubble, making the environments more colorful, pleasant, and kawaii.

We hope you like these new changes and enjoy the new look of the game as much as we do.

We also want to remind you that we really appreciate all the support you've been giving us. We're still working hard on the project and hope to release the demo soon.

And if you haven't already, don't forget to add Waifu Bubble to your Steam Wishlist. Steam will notify you when the demo becomes available so you don't miss it!

See you at the bottom of the sea, little crabs!
