v4.10.03 Hotpatch: PC FPS Drop Update (PC ONLY)

Hello again Geese (and Ducks)!
Following up on our recent post regarding stuttering and FPS drops affecting some Windows PC players, we've just released a new hotpatch aimed at addressing the issue.
Please update to v4.10.03!
What's changed?
As we shared in our previous update, our investigation pointed to a recent change in mouse pointer handling that could cause significant frame drops on some PCs whenever the mouse was moving.
While the underlying behavior appears to originate outside of the game, we've made changes on our end to reduce its impact.
We believe this hotpatch should resolve, or significantly reduce, the stuttering and FPS drops for affected players.
A huge thank you again to everyone who sent us logs, tested different configurations, and helped us track this down. Your reports gave us the information we needed to reproduce and investigate a particularly strange issue.

Because this issue has behaved differently across Windows versions and PC configurations, we'd especially like to hear from you if you're still experiencing stuttering or FPS drops after updating to v4.10.03.
Please submit a support ticket or email [email protected] and include as much of the following information as possible:
Your Windows version — press Win + R, type winver, and press Enter.
Your mouse model and polling/response rate, if known.
When the FPS drops occur and whether moving your mouse appears to trigger them.
Your game logs and any other information that may help us reproduce the issue.
We'll continue monitoring reports following the hotpatch and investigating any remaining cases.
