Grand Cru: The Wine Maker — v0.7.0 Update
Bonjour, winemakers!
As your estate grows, it should still feel like yours — not a chore list. This update keeps a bigger winery in hand: tend whole sections at once, let the cellar remember your craft, and never get blocked mid-sale again.
Gameplay
- Section Field Care — Prune, manage the canopy, and treat for pests across an entire commune in a single action. No more tending plot by plot as your estate grows.
- Smart Brewing Canvas — Each batch now starts from your last settings for that grape variety — even on a new plot. Your craft, remembered.
- Vintage Almanac — A new Encyclopedia tab gradually reveals each year's weather as your meteorology skill grows. Read the vintage instead of guessing it.
- Blind Tasting — "A Familiar Touch" — When one of your own wines is in the lineup, subtle signature clues now reward the hands that made it — without ever giving the answer away.
Quality of Life
- Harvest All, Always in Reach — The Harvest All button is now pinned in view no matter how many plots you have, costs action points per plot, and partial-harvests when you're short.
- Land Means Action — Buying land now grants triple the action-point bonus, so a growing estate keeps pace with its workload.
- Quit from Anywhere — A proper in-game Quit button in Settings and the main menu — handy in fullscreen.
- Delete Save Files — Remove old save slots right from the in-game settings, with a confirmation so nothing is erased by accident.
- Clearer Negotiation — The price slider now shows why a buyer's ceiling sits where it does.
- Smoother Market Panel — The buyer list and your wine offers now scroll independently, each under its own fixed header, so neither buries the other when the list runs long.
- New Feature Tips — A one-time hint surfaces new features even with the tutorial turned off.
Bug Fixes
- Sell Without Limits — Fixed a critical bug where the "Approach" button could be pushed off-screen once you had several wines ready, making wholesale sales impossible. The market panel now scrolls and keeps the button in reach.
- Intel Macs Fixed — A universal build resolves the Error 0 crash on Intel Macs at launch.
- Blind Tasting Vintage — Aged reds and cellar wines now always have their true vintage among the choices.
- Steady Choices — Event choices no longer visually shuffle when the event changes.
