I'm also super excited to announce the free upcoming content update!!
It's been really awesome getting to make more content for Smushi. I always had plans to do a free update like this if the game was successful enough, and here we are today making it happen!
This update includes 1 new level to explore (along with a few side levels). There's new NPCs to meet, skins to collect, mushrooms to discover, and more! You'll be able to access this new content once you've beaten the main game and it'll work with your old saves. I won't spoil too much right now, but look forward to a trailer for this update as we get closer to its release!
Last year was absolutely insane. Quite frankly it was the craziest year of my life. Things changed dramatically after Smushi's release (for the better) and I'm so grateful for all your support. Making games is my passion, and Smushi was truly a dream game that I wanted to fulfill. Now we've got plushies, a content update coming soon, potentially even some physical releases for the Switch! I'm so blown away by all the support. Thank you for playing my game, and I hope to see you return when the update comes around!
