The Forgotten Ones · published
Gamescom 2026 gave us the chance to showcase the latest build of The Forgotten Ones to publishers and industry professionals, including teams like Whitethorn Games and Plug In Digital. The feedback was positive and confirmed that the direction we’re taking in this third iteration is working.
The combination of exploration, conversations, observation, and object interaction continues to solidify as the core of Leidy’s experience.
We validated the connection between player actions and the narrative, a key aspect we wanted to confirm at this stage.
Gamescom didn’t change the direction of The Forgotten Ones. On the contrary, it gave us greater confidence to consolidate the experience we’re already building.
In the coming weeks we’ll focus on:
Polishing the current build
Strengthening sound design and audiovisual feedback
Preparing a more concentrated experience for our first public demo, scheduled for Q4 2026
We’ll share the demo’s date, content, and more details soon.
Thanks to everyone who has supported the project since its early stages. Gamescom helped us confirm the path forward. Now we’re working to bring The Forgotten Ones directly into your hands.
