A New In-Game Onboarding System

Instead of interrupting gameplay with traditional tutorials and pop-up windows, we're introducing a new in-world guidance system.

As you work through your first investigation, you'll receive messages directly on your in-game phone from the department, guiding you through the investigation naturally.

You'll learn how to:

  • Interrogate suspects

  • Present evidence during questioning

  • Spot contradictions

  • Build your case

  • Request an arrest warrant

The First Playable Case

We're also rebuilding the first case that will be included in the demo.

This investigation has been designed to introduce every major gameplay system step by step while still feeling like a real homicide investigation—not a tutorial.

By the end of the case, you'll have experienced the complete investigation workflow, from receiving the case to authorizing an arrest.

More Improvements

Alongside the new onboarding experience, we're continuing to improve many areas of the game, including:

  • A more immersive investigation flow

  • Improved interrogation mechanics

  • Better evidence progression

  • A redesigned arrest system

  • Interface and usability improvements

We're incredibly excited to share these updates with you and can't wait to let everyone experience the new opening of Homicide Desk.

See you soon, Detective.
