Off World Racing · published · build 25192956

The latest major update brings a more immersive first-person racing experience, improved tracks and environments, enhanced AI, stronger controller feedback, and more physical interaction with the world around you.
👁️ Improved First-Person View
The first-person experience has been polished with improved vehicle interiors, giving you a better view from inside the cockpit and making the unique environments of Off World Racing feel even more immersive.
📷 NEW — Reverse Camera
A new reverse camera has been added to improve awareness during races.
Check what's happening behind you, watch approaching competitors, and make better decisions when defending your position or navigating the track.
🏁 Every Track Gets More Racing Character
All tracks have received further visual polish and refinement.
New and improved Off World Racing track props, barriers, flags, signs, and other details help define the racing environment and make each circuit feel more like a dedicated off-world motorsport venue.
💥 The Track Is No Longer Completely Predictable
Light-bearing structures and other trackside objects can now be knocked over rather than stopping your vehicle dead.
With real physics, these objects can fall onto the track and become additional hazards during a race.
The environment isn't simply scenery anymore.
It can get in your way.
🎮 Feel the Race
Controller vibration and feedback have been significantly improved.
Feel more of what your vehicle is doing through the controller, particularly when racing in the highly immersive first-person view.
🤖 Improved AI
Further improvements to AI behaviour create smoother and more competitive racing, continuing the work from previous updates.
🔊 Sound Improvements
Additional audio improvements have been made throughout the game to enhance the atmosphere and give greater feedback during racing.
🛠️ More Fixes & Refinements
As always, v0.99.6 includes further bug fixes, optimisation, and improvements throughout the game.
The Race Continues
Off World Racing continues to evolve with every update. In our next update, we will be fixing more bugs, more 1st person improvements such as steering wheel and hand animations, and more polish, along with the final content update, which will add more to simulation mode, such as more races, simulations, and challenges, and more on Leaderboards.
More immersive. More responsive. More physical.
And with every world, track, and vehicle continuing to receive attention, the vision of motorsport beyond Earth gets a little closer.
