holoVillage: Our Cozy Days · published · build 24900217
Here's an overview of all the exciting update contents.
The 5 members of FLOW GLOW — Isaki Riona, Koganei Niko, Mizumiya Su, Rindo Chihaya, and Kikirara Vivi — join the game! At the same time, furniture themed after each member has been unlocked.
You can now build Affection with hololive members through interactions — take on their favors, give them gifts, and more.
As Affection grows, you'll receive gifts like Profile Cards, flowers, furniture, and outfits.
The sparkly, cute Profile Cards have unique designs for each hololive member and can be viewed in the Encyclopedia. Build friendships with as many members as you can and collect them all!
The flowers you receive from hololive members are themed after each of them — and it turns out Mayor Kumarine will use them to build beautiful flower beds...! Decorate the village with flower beds themed after your oshi!
By befriending many hololive members and giving Kumarine a variety of flowers, you can now purchase up to 2 additional Villager House Tickets from Nodoka beyond the previous cap (after clearing the main story).
You can also now send off villagers currently living in the village to free up slots (after clearing the main story).
By placing a Balloon Station in your village, you can now travel from the village to the Beach area.
At the Beach, various hololive members are relaxing and unwinding. Take photos, work part-time at the beach house with your favorite members, and enjoy holoVillage's belated summer!
In the Beach area, you can gather Shiny Shells and exchange them for prizes at the beach shop. Some items are only available at this beach exclusive shop! For example:
Boombox: Play your favorite songs as BGM! A great companion for Fishing and gathering ♪
Penlight: A wave-able, color-changing Penlight. Bring it to a Mini Live and it automatically matches the stage lighting — high-tech!
Secret Base Ticket: A ticket used to build a Secret Base at specific spots in the field.
Mini Lives are held every night at the Beach area! Don't miss the perfect photo opportunity.
Players can also jump into the lives themselves.
You can even change the performers on stage! Since you can have villagers in your favorite outfits perform, your very own dream live may just come true.
At the Beach area, you can work part-time at the beach house together with your favorite hololive member. You'll earn Shiny Shells as rewards (usable at the shop), and your Affection with the hololive member you worked with goes up too!
Until now, melee weapons had a higher control difficulty compared to magic and could feel repetitive. This update reworks melee weapons to be easier to use — and above all, more satisfying and fun to control.
You can cancel post-attack recovery or combo gaps to trigger a Step Dodge, quickly stepping in any direction. Step Dodges include brief invincibility frames, and perfectly-timed dodges trigger a Just Dodge. A successful Just Dodge grants short-duration buffs such as increased critical hit rate.
You can cancel post-attack recovery or combo gaps to trigger a Guard. Guard persists while holding the button — you can't move, but incoming damage is greatly reduced. A perfectly-timed Guard triggers a Just Guard. A successful Just Guard completely nullifies damage, cancels the brief Guard recovery, and lets you act immediately. It also grants short-duration buffs such as increased critical hit rate.
The variety of weapon-specific bonus effects has been expanded, making it more exciting to swap between new weapons. For example, the 3rd combo hit of a sword may launch a wide slash attack forward, or a Guard may trigger a counter-magic spell.
You can now access the "Music Room" mode from the title screen. Not only can you play your favorite BGM, but you can also create playlists to match your mood or scene.
Enjoy your favorite BGM as your work companion.
The "Radio Cassette" item — which lets you play your favorite BGM during gameplay — is also available at the newly-added Beach area. Perfect for Fishing and gathering too!
