Bet you didn't see that one coming!

Yep, 8 (eight?!) years later, a brand new version of BlastFX appears, completely out of nowhere. Well, it's been a much needed update, as the old version has kinda been left to rot over the years, with lots of unfixed bugs and features that were either unfinished (*cough* GIF export) or never even included.

This new version, build from the ground up, hopefully corrects most of those issues! I'm no longer using Godot as the backend, but rather regular old .NET and Avalonia for the UI. The end result is something much better suited for a desktop application and is easier to maintain, and hopefully far less buggy.Lots of nice new features too, like new post-processing effects, scrubbable playback so you can inspect your effects at any point in time, transformable emitters (so you can squish and rotate them), more export options including GIF and uncompressed AVI video (no mp4 I'm afraid, licencing sucks, although FFmpeg is a possibility if there's demand for it..), embeddable project files so you can more easily share effects without needing to package the textures with them, and plenty more quality of life features. The best news? If you already bought the original BlastFX, you get this new version free! If you don't already own it, then feel free to check out the demo version, which is fully functional except for exporting, which is disabled. You can still save/load projects, and you'll even be able to re-open them in the full version if you choose to purchase it.

Currently the Mac release of this new version isn't available yet, I still need to fix some issues and do more testing, but hopefully I can add it soon. Please tell me what you think, and if you come across any bugs or have any feature requests, let me know in the forums!
