Hey everyone!
We've reached 1,100 total players in the Did You See That? demo so far! Thank you to everyone who gave it a try, brought a friend along, and shared their experience.
Your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions have been a huge help. They've helped us spot issues and understand where the game needed clearer explanations. Sorry for the confusion and bugs some of you ran into, and thanks for giving us the chance to improve things!
What's Changed Since the Demo Launched
We've made the following additions, improvements, and fixes since launch:
New Content & Clearer Guidance
- Added 1 new anomaly.
- Added a tutorial at the beginning of the game with a visual example explaining how to play.
- Added a “Waiting for Other Player” prompt when interacting with the door, making it clear that both players are needed to complete the interaction.
Visuals & Performance
- Fixed the game appearing too dark on Medium and Low graphics settings, making certain anomalies difficult to spot.
- Added a lighting workaround for players playing without Lumen to prevent overly dark visuals.
- Optimized many textures to reduce GPU load and improve performance.
- Fixed the Texture Quality setting not applying correctly.
Gameplay & Menu Fixes
- Fixed an issue where some anomalies kept reappearing and did not reset properly for certain players.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with the door.
- Fixed some props clipping into the ground.
- Fixed the poster at the beginning of the game becoming invisible when viewed from behind.
- Fixed a resolution issue that caused mouse interactions with menus to behave incorrectly for some players.
- Fixed localization for the “Create Lobby” and “Join Lobby” buttons in the main menu.
