Changes, as filed:
- The Frontier Bank opens its doors: a full-screen office with the ledger, loans, the company record and your commendations as certificate cards, with a clerk behind the counter.
- The Patent Office is now the whole tech tree of Chapter 1: double and quadruple track, extra platforms, chain signals and the Mogul locomotive are patents; the balloon is a bank licence. The office debuts once a town runs out of room.
- Missions and orders: the bank's campaign spine sits at the top of the order book, each mission pays a cash grant, a Hamlet mission fills the gap, and a Needs attention block lists trains hauling goods nobody on their line wants.
- Facilities grow in place, five sizes each, starting with the sawmill and the woodcutter's hut. Growth is dear and earned by a run of profitable quarters.
- A world in richer colours, a new splash, and granite ballast under every rail.
- Every lane may run its own way on double and quadruple track; town growth room is counted in layers; the blocks overlay draws the actual block ribbons.
- Trains: replans start where the locomotive stands (no more wagons jumping under it), no more automatic reversing out of a deadlock, a new train's first line runs to the nearest town.
- Quality of life: previous and next locomotive in the train dialog, a Trains tile per line, trains stopping at a station, the structures slot hides until you can build, tidier panels and badges.
- A first-boot notice that this is an early build, a louder Feedback button, and the Gazette's editorial inviting complaints.
- Steam achievements mirror your commendations in the full game.
The bank trusts these prove satisfactory.
