We've just released an update to the game which addresses and fixes some of the bugs and issues players have been encountering since The Corruption Update released August 4th last week. Included are fixes for the stiff leg animation horses have been showing, a new, clearer and up to date map and some fixes for photo mode, amongst others!
Fixed newly tamed horses sometimes being impossible to approach due to slopes.
Fixed horse front-leg animation that could make the knees bend too high and movement look stiff.
Fixed horse gait animation not matching movement speed (for example, the gallop animation continuing while slowing down to a canter).
Improved how stats are presented in the horse overview.
The "Exhausted" state now reduces your horse's mood a little more noticeably.
Corruption cleansing items now unlock through Courier Rank progression once you've completed the corruption tutorial.
Fixed Gilded Leaf could not be sold to merchants
Fixed a Cartography mission (locating Yeke Cheren) that could not be completed.
Fixed having to introduce yourself to NPCs again after leaving and returning.
Fixed being unable to destroy items.
Updated the map with a clearer, higher-quality map (no more blur) and adjusted the map colours.
Fixed the map background sometimes not showing.
Fixed focus issues on the Game Settings buttons and a button-styling issue.
Fixed Photo Mode free-cam controls bleeding into normal gameplay, which could leave you stuck in a camera state.
Added missing translated subtitles (all languages except Mongolian).
And that’s that for this update. As always, we’d like to thank you all for all the feedback and bug reports, please keep sending them our way, either on Steam in our discussion threads, on Discord in our Bugs and Feedback channels, or in game using the F1 bug reporter.
