Beta Week is on
For the next week, a beta build of Verse Surf is open to everyone. It's packed with the stuff you've been asking for, and it needs real parties, real friends, and real terrible fake lyrics to find its rough edges. Play it, then head to the Community Hub and tell us what worked, what broke, and what made your group laugh the hardest.

Community Playlists & the Playlist Editor
Build your own playlists and share them. Emo night, 2000s reggaeton, songs only your cousin knows — it's yours to make, and everyone else's to fail at. An animated tutorial
New players now get the rules in about a minute, with actual moving pictures instead of a wall of text. Answers shown during the speed round
The correct lyrics now appear as the speed round plays out, so nobody's left guessing what they just got wrong. Rebuilt score UI

How to join
Right-click Verse Surf in your Steam library and choose Properties
Open the Betas tab
Select the beta branch from the dropdown
Let it update and you're in
How to help
Bug reports, opinions, playlist ideas, "this one song ruins everything" complaints — all of it goes in the Community Hub. If you hit a bug, tell us how many players were in the lobby and what you were doing when it happened. If possible, include a screenshot. That detail saves us hours. The beta closes in one week.
