"Pluck Em! just won Best of Gaming at Runway AI Festival 2026!"
Well, this still feels a little unreal to write.
I didn’t start Pluck Em! with some grand plan or huge expectations. At first, I simply wanted to see if I could make a small but competent game — something that would actually be fun to play, and not feel like a messy AI experiment held together with "duck tape".
The result turned out to be interesting enough that, after the first feedback from players, I decided to take a shot and submit the game to the AIF 2026 by Runway.
Winning Best of Gaming came as a huge surprise, but also as an incredible honor. It is also the direct reason why you are reading these words here, on Steam.
I hope Pluck Em! can become an interesting experience for you as well. I’m working hard to turn it into the best game I can, while continuing to use AI tools throughout development — including Moonlake AI, Claude, Suno, and others.
To me, this project is also a small example of something I believe in:
Sometimes, a good idea and the right tools are enough to create something that would not have been possible otherwise.
Not because the tools replace the human mind, but because they can extend it.
The human idea and the mechanical tool need each other. And especially the second one, without the first, cannot really create anything good.
Huge thanks to the judges, Runway, the AIFF team, and everyone who played, supported, or gave feedback on Pluck Em! so far.
Wishlist Pluck Em! and stay tuned — there’s much more coming.
