September Roadmap

Hello there.

Now that my little vacation is over (Yes I released several updates during that break, I am bad at taking breaks) I think a road map for the next bit is warranted, so it's clear where the game is going and how it's going to grow.

First off, I should mention my Patreon, this is where I post my devlogs every other week. (All free, I should set it to not accept money since I don't provide anything paid there...) If you want to see what I've been up to, that's the place to go.

Second off, I do not work in an organized way. I don't decide "This is what I'm doing" and solely do that. I tend to fix things as I encounter them, tweak things as I notice them, and get sucked into rabbit holes. I might decide to work on a spell, and spend 2 days on dialogue. Or decide puzzles need a lot of map-work instead. Additionally, a lot of things need other things done around them, like a new area needs materials, which needs items that use those materials, which need visuals for those upgrades. I can't always predict those, so my goals are always just estimates.

General Roadmap:

My plan is that every month I will pick a goal and write up a roadmap on that goal, even if I detour to other tasks I'll try to achieve that goal by the end of the month.

These goals will be new mechanics, areas, or features. Like a month implementing Cole, or expanding Claudia, or a month working on the Dark Forest.

Some goals may take more than a month, but I'll still post a roadmap at the start of the month about it.

This month:

My goal for this month is simple. (I'm still kinda frazzled from releasing the game, and sending 100 E-mails.)

I plan to finish Ori's story. Which means giving her 2 new heart events, and expanding and double-checking her hang-out dialogue.

(2, not 3 new heart events, because Ori's final story beat actually relies on some content much later on, on someone you haven't seen yet... And I just remembered the UI doesn't show how many there are total any more.)

This is very tame, it should take 2-3 weeks at most, so I might detour to setting up some Steam achievements, or to expanding Claudia as well. We'll see.

I was planning to take a break for the week, and not do anything productive with the game after the stress of sending over a hundred E-mails. ... Anyway, here's a small update adding a couple new lines of dialogue, to better integrate some content in the forest. · When you obtain the Vision Spell, Ori and Claudia now have something to say about it. · When you see visions of their p…Game update29 Aug 2026Early Access V1.0.1 - Crafter GuideHello there. A quick hot fix for a few issues pointed out to me. · Crafter Guide - The crafter is not very self explanatory, and forcing a tutorial on the player doesn't fit everything else. I've now added a tutorial for it to Ori's book in her cabin, explaining it in clear detail how it works, although I will need to see if players end up checking there for info or not. · Spelling mistakes - T…
