Since launching into Full Release, you've been sending us loads of feedback, bug reports and clips, and we've been hard at work getting fixes shipped out the door as quickly as possible. So, massive thanks for all your input 🫶
This hotfix focuses on server improvements, animation polish, and blocked challenge fixes. Full details are covered off below.
⚙️ IMPROVEMENTS
🌐 Server & Multiplayer Performance
We've improved the performance of multiplayer servers so that servers shouldn’t drop below 60fps, alongside improvements for join codes and getting you guys on to the same servers.
🎮 Gameplay Polish
We've continued refining the feel of riding with:
Smoother transitions into drift animations.
Improved skid particle effects when drifting.
Additional loading screen tips throughout the game.
Improvements to backend server handling for a more reliable online experience.
🐞 BUG FIXES
🏁 Gameplay & Bike Feel
Fixed an issue where landing spins could unexpectedly send riders off course.
Reduced overly aggressive hip assist during flips for more predictable landings.
Fixed several Sponsor Challenges that could progress incorrectly while simply airborne.
Fixed an issue where Head-to-Head Slopestyle players could respawn at the wrong checkpoint after bailing near the finish.
👀 First-Person Camera & Animation
We've polished a number of first-person animations, including fixes for:
Arm clipping while using air control.
Scrub animations where the arm looks unnatural.
Hand and finger positioning during high-speed riding, leaning and riding backwards.
🖥️ UI & Menus
Fixed a black screen that could occur after leaving the Shop from the pause menu.
Fixed a rare black screen after completing Pineapple Hits Slopestyle.
Fixed the Slopestyle score widget incorrectly displaying "Rival" when no rival was active.
Improved German localisation for MAVRIX Cup UI.
The build/version number is now displayed on the main menu, making it easier to identify which version you're running when reporting issues.
🌍 World & Visuals
Fixed the default sun position so lighting now appears as intended.
Fixed the Time of Day setting so lighting updates correctly when adjusted.
🎮 Platform & Online
Fixed an issue when joining multiplayer sessions via the Xbox Game Bar.
Improved online reliability through better handling of backend rate limits and retries.
