Hello everyone,
The rumors are true: Roguecraft DX launches on Steam on September 10, 2026!
What started years ago as a little roguelike written in Amiga Assembly has somehow crawled its way across the Commodore 64, the Amiga, the Evercade and more. Now the biggest version we've ever built is finally about to reach Steam. We can hardly believe it ourselves.
What's waiting in the Dungeons of Mordecoom:
- A casual yet challenging turn-based roguelike, inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and Lovecraftian horror
- Three heroes, three playstyles: the crushing Warrior, the backstabbing Rogue, and the dangerously fragile Wizard
- Procedurally generated dungeons full of mysterious potions, hidden rooms, many-eyed horrors, and one unnervingly aggressive chicken
- Now in glorious 16:9 widescreen, with new content beyond what you've seen in the demo
- Localization in English, German, French and more…
- Original soundtrack, converted from original Amiga modules.
Don't just take our word for it. The retro press has already braved the depths:
"The Lovecraftian look has been achieved splendidly. Roguecraft will definitely not disappoint!" (Amiga Addict, 96%)
"A sublime Rogue-like experience that will keep you playing." (Zzap!, 91%)
"One game that you'll certainly want to return to." (Retro Gamer, 90%)
Thank you ❤️
We never imagined our little retro side project would get this kind of response. Every wishlist, bug report, kind word, and chicken-related complaint has shaped this game. We truly couldn't have done it without you.
Until launch day, you can:
- Wishlist Roguecraft DX so Steam reminds you the moment the dungeon opens
- Try the free demo: five levels, all three heroes, and the extra-hard Chicken Run mode (where YOU are the chicken)
- Tell a friend who misses classic dungeon crawlers
- Join our Discord
See you in Mordecoom on September 10!
