sure has been a while hasn't it!
a lot of new stuff this update but in case you dont feel like reading it all, let me show you the highlights:

Customization Overhaul

Style customization has been massively expanded. Styles can now have up to 3 particle auras, and auras can now be attached to different limbs, or be triggered by certain actions in-game. There are also a lot more sliders and options that can change aura particle behavior. Note: modded characters will not have limb auras unless the mod creator supports it.

You can also create custom hitsparks!

Community Events

In the top-right corner of the main menu sits the new Community Events panel, a player-maintained list of upcoming tournaments and other Your Only Move Is HUSTLE-related events. Clicking a Community Event will automatically open up the event page in your browser.

Those looking to host community events should take a look at #tournaments channel description in the official discord.

Lobby Improvements

Lobbies now show more information about active games, like player health and number of spectators.

You you can now click this new button to challenge someone with a saved replay, allowing you to resume matches that got interrupted. Additionally, the game saves a backup replay every turn now.

You can change your status so that other users can't challenge you for the moment. You are also now able to block and mute users by clicking their profile picture (or name in the chat window).

Fairer start

Default settings now have the fighters much further away from each other. No more round-start RPS.

What else?

There are a ton more changes this update. Most of it is bug fixes and quality of life features. For all of those, and character-specific changes, see the detailed patch notes.

And another thing - mods are gonna break! They will be disabled the first time you boot this update, but you can turn them back on (at your own peril).
