August 24 – September 15, 2026 · Ruins of Luk Khun OutpostLove is in the air, Captains!To mark the Lover's Festival in Skull and Bones, we're inviting you to make your way to the Ruins of Luk Khun Outpost, where a couple of very romantic baby hippos have taken up residence for the occasion.
The Lover's Festival is a limited-time campaign running August 18 – September 15 in Skull and Bones.
Here's everything happening during the event:
Login Rewards – Log in daily to earn rewards throughout the campaign. The Call of the Phoenix cosmetic unlocks on Day 28 of the login campaign. The reward track is already live, the sooner you log in, the better.
Romantic Hippos – A pair of very special hippos have set up at the Ruins of Luk Khun Outpost for the full event period. They're the stars of this contest.
Store Bundles – Several themed bundles are available in the store during the campaign: Wandering Blade, Suave Seadog Fleet, Legend of Anne, and Spring Blossom Fleet.
Community Screenshot Contest – Starting August 24, you can submit screenshots to win prizes,more details below.
Head to the Ruins of Luk Khun Outpost and take your best shot. Think of it as a selfie moment, but make it worthy of a Kingpin.
Here's how to stand out:
Bring your crew! Group screenshots have a higher chance of being selected. The more Captains in the frame, the better.
Strike a pose! Use your emotes to set the mood. Playful, dramatic, romantic - the choice is yours.
Dress the part! This is your moment to flex your Captain's finest fits.
Get creative with framing! The Ruins of Luk Khun Outpost and its residents make for a beautiful backdrop.
And remember, love takes many forms: friendship, your style, the sea, or the hippos themselves. There's no wrong way to celebrate.
Follow these steps to submit your entry:
Sail to the Ruins of Luk Khun Outpost and take your screenshot using in-game Photo Mode near the romantic hippos (HUD/UI hidden, no external editing). Make sure that your captain is visible! Screenshots can be captured in Steam at any time using the F12 key.
Open Steam and go to View → Recordings & Screenshots to find your captured screenshots.
Select the screenshot you would like to submit, click "Share" → "Share on Steam".
Post your screenshot to the Skull and Bones Steam Community Hub Screenshots section using the tag #LoversFestival. Set visibility to Public and do not mark it as a spoiler.
Fill out the submission form: After posting, complete the submission form to register your entry. You'll need to provide your Captain name, platform, and a link to your screenshot. This is required to be eligible for rewards.
You may submit one (1) entry only - so make it count!
Submissions open: August 24, 2026 at 16:00 UTC Submissions close: September 15, 2026 at 16:00 UTC
The Ruins of Luk Khun Outpost must be clearly visible and recognizable in your screenshot.
Screenshots must be taken using in-game Photo Mode only. Minimum resolution: 1920 × 1080. HUD/UI must be hidden.
No external editing tools, filters, overlays, or AI-generated content.
One (1) submission per participant. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
Your account must be in good standing with Skull and Bones community guidelines.
Ubisoft employees and their immediate family members are not eligible.
By submitting, you grant Ubisoft permission to share your screenshot on official Skull and Bones channels, with credit to you.
Our team will review all valid entries and hand-pick the Top 20.
The Skull and Bones team will select the winners based on:
Ruins of Luk Khun Outpost clearly visible
Creativity and composition
Use of emotes and Captain expression
Group participation (bonus consideration!)
Overall Lover's Festival spirit
Winners will be announced by September 30, 2026.
Everyone who submits a valid entry will receive a participation reward:
