Hi friends! It's been a while. A lot has been happening with the project. You gave us feedback, and we heard you.

At first we planned to do it this way: first you earn in-game currency, then you build. We decided to flip it around: build whatever you want, as much as you want. No limits, and nothing to unlock first.

Build whatever you want and as much as you want. No limits, nothing to unlock first.
You earn in-game currency by being active, and there are plenty of ways, so pick your own:
And you spend it on whatever you love: new Workshop items from other players, avatars, mini-games you haven't unlocked yet, and growing the big shared worlds you build together with friends.
In short: earn however you like, whichever way suits you best, whether that's building, welcoming guests, creating content, playing, or helping the community. However you want to play, that's how you earn.
And most importantly: currency can only be earned in the game. It can't be bought. So everything here is fair: if someone has a lot, it's not because they paid, but because they actually did something.
A house in Homespace isn't just a pretty backdrop. It's a living space with plenty to do together with friends. Put on music and throw parties. Cast a line and relax with some fishing. Get together for board games and mini-games. Watch videos and movies together right in your own space.

Cast a line and relax with some fishing.
And you can also make the music yourselves. We recently added a piano, and we absolutely love it. In the future we want to go further, so you can literally learn to play an instrument right in the game.

A little live music in your home.
And thanks to the Workshop, you'll be able to create your own mini-games too. It's all in your hands, so dream up and suggest anything you like. We'll be adding the best ideas into the official game.
These aren't just mini-games. They're part of the world, and they help you sink deeper into Homespace and earn more currency along the way.

Items, blocks, even avatars: you'll be able to upload your own, and other players will be able to use them too.
We've heard a huge number of requests to let players upload their own items into the game. And we're making it happen: Homespace is getting a Workshop.
Soon everyone will be able to upload their own items right in the Workshop. And the coolest part: when other players use your items, you'll earn currency. That's how the Workshop will turn into a living ecosystem, where one person's creativity becomes a tool for someone else.
We can't wait to see what you'll create first. In the survey you sent us ideas, and some of them really make our eyes light up. Tell us in the comments what you'd like to see in the Workshop, or what you'd build yourself.
Your own home is great. But Homespace is one shared world, and your big goal isn't just to build a house for yourself, it's to create a place that others will come to. Not a room, but a whole space with its own atmosphere: your hometown, a street from your favorite movie, a club where people really gather to party, a fishing bay that half the map flocks to. Or you can join one of the official Homespace world-building projects and help create something big together with everyone.

Your spot on the map of the shared Homespace world.
The more people who come there, the more alive the place becomes, the more currency it brings, and the more strongly that place gets associated with you. It's no longer just a build, it's a spot on the Homespace map that you created.
And our dream is for all of Homespace to be made up of places like these: cities, corners from movies and games, places you want to be. Built by you.
This is only the beginning, and there's still a lot more to come. Thank you for building Homespace together with us.
P.S. Not long ago we ran a big survey, and several hundred of you have already answered it. Thank you: it's thanks to your answers that we figured out where to go next. Haven't had a chance to take part yet? Now's the perfect time: forms.gle/ddzfMvGbAYLM3T8G9
