It’s officially been 3 years since Darkest Dungeon II’s 1.0 release. As always, thank you to our incredible community. Whether you started playing in Early Access, or picked up Darkest Dungeon II just this year, we are so grateful for your support.Since our last anniversary, we’ve put out a number of updates. We released our 3rd and final Kingdoms module, finished our hero reworks and overhauled a number of features with two Steadfast Steward updates, released hero origin skins, and expanded modding support to include custom heroes.Check out the release timeline for these updates below!

There are even a few new things on the horizon. A Nintendo Switch 2 version of Darkest Dungeon II is currently in production. We don’t have a release date to announce at this time, but we hope to be able to share that with you soon. We are also happy to confirm that a new Darkest Dungeon II DLC is in the works. This DLC is currently scheduled for an early 2027 release. More details will be provided later in the year. If you want to help test this upcoming release, you can sign up to do so here: https://darkestdungeon.firstlook.gg Testing is likely to begin late this summer.
