Heavy Metal DLC - What’s Inside?
Heavy Metal DLC introduces four iconic machine guns to the game:
- MG3
The German legend of extreme firepower. An incredible rate of fire, an unmistakable design, and one of the most recognizable silhouettes in machine gun history.
- M249
A light machine gun used by NATO forces. Mobile, modular, and built for sustained suppressive fire.
- M60
The classic American heavy machine gun known from conflicts throughout the 20th century. Powerful, rugged, and absolutely iconic.
- PKP Pecheneg
A modern Russian design engineered for prolonged continuous fire. Durability and brutal effectiveness combined.
Why Is Heavy Metal DLC Worth Getting?
These are not just new weapons. Alongside the DLC, we’ve introduced new mechanics and features that expand the Gunsmith Simulator gameplay experience:
- barrel overheating mechanics - machine guns can now heat up red-hot during intense firing,
- barrel swapping at the shooting range - dynamic machine gun handling during live fire,
- new machine guns operation animations - many new interactions and post-repair animations on the test table,
Update 1.6 - Free Content for All Players
Alongside the DLC launch, we’ve also released a major free update.
New Shooting Position - Prone Setup
We’ve added a dedicated prone shooting station featuring:
- metal targets designed specifically for machine guns,
- new long-range targets,
- shooting distances of up to 300 meters - perfect for precision rifles.
New Shooting Range Mini-Games
Put your skills to the test in brand-new modes:
- Longshot - precision shooting at small targets from very long distances,
- Waves - eliminate appearing targets as quickly as possible,
- Free Shooting - complete shooting freedom.
New Attachments - Bipods
We’ve added bipods to improve stability and make prone shooting even more effective.
New Radio Station - Heavy Metal 🤘
Yes… we also added a metal radio station, because Heavy Metal deserves the right soundtrack.
New Steam Achievements
New achievements have been added to the game:
- Ping Pong
- Relentless
- Full Auto Certified
- Diagnostic Enjoyer
- Red Hot Swap
This is a massive amount of new content and updates.
