SONZAI is a completely hand-drawn action RPG set in Kumotoshi, the only town in the world where magic exists - combining magical town exploration and relationship building, alongside stylish combat, dungeon clearing, and combo-driven character action.
SONZAI is especially made for players who enjoy both sides of that experience: strong storytelling and relationships, but also real-time action combat and skill-based gameplay that asks you to learn its flow.

Because SONZAI is a large, story-rich game with six chapters, we want to test it progressively as development continues. This first round will focus on the opening chapter, and making sure the game’s early experience is as strong as it can be. For this round, we’re especially looking for feedback on:

how the balance between story progression and character-action combat feels
