Pulsagon v2.0 – Rebuilt From the Core 🌀

After months of rebuilding systems, redesigning the interface, and reworking the game’s foundation, Pulsagon v2.0 is finally here.

This isn’t just another content update.
This is a fresh start.

v2.0 rebuilds Pulsagon from the ground up with cleaner gameplay flow, improved presentation, and a stronger foundation for the future of the game.

🎵 The Original 7 Songs Return

The first seven official Pulsagon tracks are back in the rebuilt version.

  • All 7 launch songs have been reimplemented for v2.0

  • 4 songs have been fully remastered with improved audio and gameplay flow

  • Charts have been refined to better match the rebuilt gameplay systems

This update focuses on returning to Pulsagon’s roots while modernizing the experience.

🔥 New Mode: Hardcore

Hardcore Mode has officially arrived.

This mode increases the intensity by making:

  • Shapes appear faster

  • Reaction windows feel tighter through speed pressure

  • Songs significantly more demanding at higher difficulties

Hardcore Mode is designed for players who want pure reflex gameplay and minimal hesitation.

🎧 Song Previews

Every song in the level select menu now includes a short audio preview.

You can now:

  • Quickly preview tracks before selecting them

  • Get a feel for each song’s energy and rhythm

  • Explore the soundtrack more naturally through the new menu flow

Combined with the redesigned UI, song selection now feels much smoother and more interactive.

🎨 Reworked Presentation

v2.0 introduces:

  • A redesigned logo

  • A rebuilt menu system

  • A new AAA-inspired level selection interface

  • Improved transitions and cleaner visual structure

The goal was to make Pulsagon feel faster, cleaner, and more polished from the moment you launch the game.

🌍 Language Support Changes

As part of the rebuild, all language support besides English has been temporarily removed.

This decision was made to:

  • Simplify development during the rebuild

  • Focus on polishing the core experience first

  • Avoid outdated or incomplete translations

We absolutely want to revisit localization again in the future.

🛠️ A New Foundation

v2.0 is the beginning of a new era for Pulsagon.

While not every feature from older versions has returned yet, this rebuild gives us a far more stable and expandable foundation moving forward.

More mechanics, modes, FX systems, and creator tools will return over time—rebuilt properly from the start.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Pulsagon through all its changes, experiments, updates, and rebuilds.

This is only the beginning of the next phase.
