Hey Gremlins!
Mother Machine's launch is less than 2 weeks away! The team has been hard at work getting the final version ready, and today we're updating the Demo with the new goodies.
As this includes a few balance changes, and changes to the way you progress through the game, we've had to do a progression wipe as part of this update. Don't forget you can skip the tutorial to get straight back into the caves!
- Removed the "Glowing Sweat Skin" mutation and replaced it with "Shelled Fart"
- After completing the tutorial, you must play a 1-star "Cave Trek" expedition and talk to Mother to unlock the other difficulties and "Pest Control" expedition
- Added new customization options and adjusted the prices of some of them
- Lots of UI improvements
- Improved performance across all graphics modes
- Added some more tutorial popups here and there
- Lots of bug fixes
- Lots of tuning tweaks
- Lots of graphical and audio polish
There will be more to come, including more performance updates and missing/improved translations.
