THE PLAYTEST IS LIVE! Come in and shine.

Again, here are the biggest changes we've made:

New engine (self-explanatory)
New playable hero: the Huntress
New hero-based skill trees (replaces previous elemental-based ones)
New playable Realm: Muspelheim (hot hot hot)
Realms have been increased in size (3x bigger)
New Web of Wyrd (all-new dynamic skill system during a run; replaces the previous rune carving system)
Both new and updated abilities
New enemies and bosses
Overhauled enemy attack pattern mechanics
Added random world buffs that pop up during a run

Just head over to the Asgard's Fall Steam Store Page and hit that Join the Asgard's Fall Playtest button.
