Here are the list of updates in this patch (Patch 0.1.2):
- Fixed skater boards movement. This consequently fixes puck going through boards and out of play, skaters not being able to pick the puck up off boards, the skater super speed boost, and network rubber-banding caused by old boards movement. This fix should bring elegant boards play to Hockey Club!
- Smaller skaters speed is now buffed by over 100%. They feel way faster and more balanced as they can get away easier from bigger guys trying to hit them. Basically your skater's build weight effects his top speed more.
- L1 button now cancels a pass.
- If L1 is pressed and held down when you wrist shoot, you now dump the puck in. The puck will lob in the direction you are facing. This should be great for dump and chase gameplay.
- Fixed puck on goalie physics rebound control. This is a huge buff for goalies as in the past there were way to many pucks hitting the goalie and still bouncing into the net.
- Board with gaps (we call him the 8-bit Goalie) added to the front of the net if a goalie is not present on your team (Non practice only). Try to score on that...
- Penalty nerfs added because you guys love the sin bin and you know it. Interference now will fire if the hit player is outside a radial distance (kinda small) from the puck when the hit player does not have the puck. Poke checking now only interacts with gameplay if you have the poke check button held down (R1).
- Deadzones can now be adjusted in the in game menu under "General Settings". Better defaults have been set so it is much easier to trigger a shot / slap shot.
- Penalty shots are called slightly less and have been reworked to only allow one shot at the goalie. This logic will prove useful in the future (Shootouts).
- Slightest nerf in the world for hitting.
- Fixed goalie stopping play when the play is stopped already lol.
- Goalie practice has been made harder.
- Goalie hug post movement adjusted.
- Practice mode aim arrows are now toggleable in the in game menu under "General Settings".
- Audio adjustments.
- Teammates grabbing the puck has become easier to make passing more balanced. Slap shot one-timers are now easier to do as well.
- Leaderboards have been added to Hockey Club. For now, they only record your stats if there are 4v4 players in a game, and are seasonal and will reset after each quarter (every 3 months).
- And we are getting close to working on fighting! We need it...
