Development Updates
I'd like to update you on development recently since our last post here in June (!!)
First of all, we're relatively active on Bluesky (search Danchi Days). Did you know we also have a newsletter? You can find links to all these things on https://danchidays.com/ .
In June, we took part in a few showcases including Wholesome Direct, and released our demo. We also updated the key art! In September, we took part in Game Devs of Color Expo, and in November, Cozy Quest 2025.
In June/July we took a break from dev, though in July we exhibited at Bitsummit in Kyoto. In particular, me (Melos) was working on finishing my action game Angeline Era (which came out in December 2025!)
In August, we started working with ume and olivia to help us with marketing in the Japanese and English world! We also started back on some writing and art for the game.
September+Oct we continued with making art.
Most of November/December was a break, with some art made.
In December, Angeline Era released, so by mid-January my work with AE was mostly done and I returned to Danchi Days!
By the end of January, sandy powder was also back to writing, and mogumu was back to making art.
In short...
Now that it's in February, we're all working primarily on Danchi Days! We've set various internal deadlines for ourselves and are aiming to release the game this year.
