Galaxy Burger · published
Hey there, burger lovers! I thought it was time to break the silence a bit =)
With just 3 days left until release, I wanted to share some exciting news about the game and behind-the-scenes details of developing Galaxy Burger. First off, I’ll be answering a lot of your questions.
The game will be released on August 23rd at 09:00 AM (EDT, New York), 15:00 (CEST, Berlin), and 21:00 (CST, Beijing).
We've designed the game to be engaging for both modes. You can play solo and then invite friends to join your game, or go through the entire game alone or with others. You can switch between solo and co-op at any point in your playthrough.

In many cooking games, you're pressured by timers or customer patience levels. But in Galaxy Burger, there's no rush. The key is to prepare the order correctly and cook it to perfection.
For those who love time-based challenges, we’ve added game modes where customer patience comes into play. This mode is available on all levels and offers triple the rewards per shift.

In short: new recipes, more varied characters, diverse orders, combo meals, new planets and star systems, coffee and new drinks, additional game modes, more customization options, and countless little improvements. We’ve also upgraded the game’s art style.
We’ve fixed tons of bugs over the past two months. The demo version doesn’t include these fixes, but rest assured, 99% of the demo’s bugs have been resolved in the full game.
We’ve tried to make the game family-friendly. We had several playtests where people played with their young children, and they all loved it. It surprised us—we didn’t expect the game to appeal so much to kids, not just adults.

We’ve aimed for an affordable price. The game will be priced at $9.6 in the US, with a 20% launch discount. Similar pricing will apply in Europe. There will also be lower regional prices for countries in Asia and other regions.
We’ve built great support for Xbox controllers and similar devices. Playing with a gamepad is comfortable and intuitive. The game will likely work on PS controllers too.
The game runs perfectly on Steam Deck, and with the controller support, you won’t face any control issues.
To unlock all levels and enjoy the full content, it should take around 15-20 hours. Completing the game with 100% achievements will likely take even longer.

We’re planning to release several major updates and free DLC. The first major update is expected in October 2024, but what’s in it is still a secret.
It’s just two of us: me, Dima Zaitsev, the programmer and game designer, and Oleg Savin, the artist and musician. We also got a lot of help with testing from my wonderful partner, Maria Skokova. Plus, many of our friends supported us with testing. We’re professionals in our field, and game development has been a dream come true for me. We pour all of our time into making games.
If I missed anything, feel free to ask questions in the comments.
