Everything you know is about to change. Passive Abilities are a new way to enhance your plane with unique capabilities. All 41 planes feature their own Passive Ability; you can see the full list below:
Let’s break down some details about Passive Abilities, and how you can obtain them.
How do I activate a passive ability? That’s the great thing about these. Unlike Active Abilities, Passive Abilities require no input to use! They each have their own conditions to use, which you can refer to the description, and [new] in-game HUD elements.
What level are they available? Passive Abilities will start to become available at Plane Level 12.
How do these scale? Passive Abilities have 5 upgrade levels to increase their effectiveness. These levels require 1/2/3/5/8 blueprints.
How can I obtain these blueprints? Passive Ability blueprints can drop from most crates as well as appear in the Ace Shop like Active Abilities. That being said, we’re doing something a little different given the timing of this feature release..

Developer Note: Due to this sale covering all blueprints, the typical “Blueprint Event” will not be happening during this time.
Missile Lock Resistance HUD Indicator: Whenever your plane reduces lock range against someone attempting to target you, you will now see two indicators. Lock triangles will begin to shake, and a new “Lock Resisted” banner will appear on your HUD.
Bug Fixes
Fixed some bugs in the controls rebinding menu.
Fixed a number of Client Simulation Errors.
