Farewell to Startelf and the start of a new chapter

Dear fans and supporters,

It's never easy to end a project in which you have invested so much passion, time and energy. Unfortunately, I have to inform you today that the development of Startelf, my ambitious football manager game, will be put on hold for the time being.

As the sole developer of this project, I have worked with passion and dedication to create a game that would revolutionise the genre. My aim was to achieve an unprecedented depth and realism across the various roles in a traditional German football manager game. But now I realised that this undertaking was simply too much for one person. The sheer amount of work required to realise a game of this scale is overwhelming and requires a team of professionals working together in different areas.

Alongside my full-time job and other commitments, it was impossible for me to find enough time to develop Startelf further. The reality is that such a project would take many more years of work, and as a single developer it is incredibly difficult to maintain the necessary motivation and excitement over such a long period of time.

But that doesn't mean that all the work and knowledge gained was in vain. Quite the opposite! The development of Startelf has given me valuable insights and experience that I will now channel into another project.

I'm pleased to announce that I've decided to make the most of what I've already achieved and completely revise my previous game Player's Eleven and re-release it as Player's Eleven Gold. Player's Eleven still has great potential, but was unfortunately marred by some bugs and outdated designs. The reworked UI elements and concepts from Startelf provide the perfect foundation to make this game shine in new splendour.

Here are some of the improvements that await you in Player's Eleven Gold:

  • Completely new UI: A modern and user-friendly interface that offers an intuitive and enjoyable gaming experience.
  • Free choice of resolution: Finally you can enjoy the game in the resolution of your choice, whether on a small laptop or a large monitor.
  • Revised graphics: Fresh and appealing visual elements that take the gaming experience to a new level.
  • Improved tactical features: Even more detailed and realistic ways to strategically lead your team.
  • Optimised live game: A more dynamic and exciting presentation of the games that puts you right in the middle of the action.
  • Reworked stadium and club grounds: Better management options and more customisation possibilities for your clubs.

I hope you are as excited as I am about this new chapter. Player's Eleven Gold will incorporate all the lessons learnt and progress made from the development of Startelf and offer you an even better football manager experience.

However, the dream of Startelf is not yet over. In fact, the plan is that Player's Eleven Gold will one day become Startelf. The road ahead may be long and challenging, but I firmly believe that we can get there together.

Thank you for your support and understanding. The journey is not over yet, it's just taking a new and exciting direction!

With best regards,

Your Sandor

My name is Sandor and I am programming the game! Actually, today I had planned to present the European international cup competitions, but I postpone this to the next time. On the one hand, I'm unfortunately not ready yet, on the other hand, I want to present something that can easily get lost, but is nevertheless very important for a compu…
