We've been working hard behind the scenes and today we're dropping the biggest update yet — Stream Slugger v2.0.0 is live!
What's new?
YOUR character, YOUR level, EVERY stream ⚔️
This is the big one. Chatters can now visit
, log in with their Twitch account, and pick their own character class. Your character, your stats, and your level are saved across every single stream that runs Stream Slugger.
That means you can grind levels at your favorite small streamer, then walk into a bigger channel as a level 50 beast while everyone else is still at level 1. Your progress follows you everywhere. No more starting over every time you hop between streams!
Streamers: getting your chatters started is easy
Your viewers just need to:

Log in with their Twitch account
Pick a class and they're set — forever, across all streams
Web Dashboard & Global Leaderboard 🌐
Every chatter gets their own dashboard at
— track your Total XP, view your characters, check session history, and see how many bosses you've slain. Think you're the best? The Global Leaderboard ranks all players across every Stream Slugger stream. Time to compete!
Note: The web dashboard is still growing — core features are live, with more being added regularly.
Fresh new look 👀
The Twitch Connection screen got a complete makeover. Gone is the old plain text screen — say hello to a slick, modern layout that actually looks like it belongs in 2026. You'll see your connection status, a QR code your viewers can scan, and a handy copy button for the !slugger chat command. No more explaining to your mods how to set things up!
Engine go brrrr 🚀
We upgraded the entire engine to Unity 6 LTS. What does that mean for you? Better performance, smoother rendering, and a solid foundation for all the cool stuff we have planned next.
Offline Mode is here 🎮
Sometimes Twitch has a bad day. Sometimes you just want to mess around without going live. Now you can! Hit "Start Offline" right from the main screen and characters will spawn automatically. Perfect for testing your setup or just vibing.
Smoother Twitch login 🔐
Connecting your Twitch account is now as simple as one click. The login button opens your browser, you authorize, and boom — you're connected. The "Twitch Start" button lights up and you're ready to go live.
